"On behalf of the Management Board of the Lancashire County RFU it is my pleasure to advise you that Southport RFC have been chosen to be the recipient of this season's Junior Club of the Year.

This is in recognition of the great season the club has had in league rugby along with the very successful Mini &Juniors.

The club has hosted County events that have been great successes, comments being made about the great hospitality received.

The Southport club has a feeling of being one big family with everyone working to the same goal.
