Only one game at Waterloo Road on Saturday and NOT to be missed....Ormskirk AKA the gingerbread men in the Cup. KO 2.15pm

Get yourself down to support James Doran Doran's band of new romantics seek vengeance for the recent 'clocking' they suffered at Green Lane.....team manager Andy Whitfield is already frothing.

"On Saturday we are the only Senior side at home. May I ask that we meet for 12.30 pm and walk across the main pitch and collect any spent firework cartridges. In recognition of us being the only side at home which will give us a well earned opportunity to avenge that disastrous result at Green Lane with the assistance of some exceptionally creative refereeing"

In case you haven't received it Tim Holland has done an update and preview on activities at the club.

"This week sees another busy schedule down at Waterloo road and we would love you to join us for one or more of the events.

Firstly, throughout the week training will be held as usual and the coaching staff would like to see as many players down as possible. The great start to the season for seniors, juniors, ladies and girls teams has been helped by the great training sessions and the more players who attend the better these sessions can run.

On Friday evening the club has organised the annual bonfire celebration. With the barbecue getting another outing, the drinks will be flowing over the bar and there will be the usual firework spectacular. So why not bring down the kids and start the weekend with friends down at the club. Tickets are still available on the gate and we hope to see you there. Gates open at 6pm.

Saturday the old rivalry is resumed with Southport 3XV taking on their counterparts from Ormskirk in a cup match at Waterloo road. Hopefully they can emulate the other two sides victories over the gingerbread men earlier on in the season. KO will be at 2.15pm.

Sunday sees a bit of history being made at the club as for the first time we are hosting the U15s and U18s Lancashire girls teams when they take on Cheshire. Ladies and girls rugby has for many become part of the weekend ritual for many supporters and these games will be a great chance to see the best of the up and coming talent in Lancashire and maybe even catch a glimpse of some of our own girls compete at a higher level. KO is at 2pm for both games.

Finally, next Monday there is a Scrum factory being hosted by the club and any coaches interested in attending please follow this link to find further details and to book.
