Fixtures this Saturday see the First XV seeking redemption at home to Widnes and likewise the Seconds away at Bolton 2s.

The Third XV are'over the wall' entertaining New Brighton 3s. All games kick off at 3pm and spectators welcome (free admission).

The new match programme generously sponsored by Chris Tinsley Estate Agents and created by Neil Mutch will be available for the first time. It includes a warm welcome to all the players who have joined the club in the summer.

On Sunday registration continues for the Minis & Juniors (see below) with this year’s u13s having a home match against Liverpool Collegiate (KO 11am) whilst the u14s and u15s make the reverse journey to Aigburth

The main feature is the Colts making their home debut for the season as they host their counterparts from Penrith (KO 2pm). This is on the back of an excellent 27-14 win at Crewe & Nantwich last weekend. Indeed the performances of the Colts throughout last weekend especially James Cook, Sam Lawrenson, George Scott and Callum Toothill was the bright spot for the Club and with last year’s u16s and u17s gelling seamlessly the squad is going to be pretty formidable whilst also being integrated into the Seniors set up. Come down and watch the exuberance of the future of the Club in full flow, and with Penrith being a tough nut to crack an exciting game is keenly anticipated.

Last Sunday the Ladies had a gutsy work out against newly established Women’s Super League team Waterloo which will stand them in good stead for their opening fixture at National level 3 away at Birkenhead Park (KO 2.45pm)
