Congratulations to u12 player Tom Crompton who did the club (and as it turned out England too!) when he was mascot for Wales on Saturday, helping them to victory against Ireland and setting up a nail-biter for the final day of the 6 nations. With a narrow points advantage over the Welsh and the Irish it's arguably now for England to lose....

Losing certainly wasn't on the agenda for the u13s and u14s though. Each pulled off stirring victories on Sunday morning to reach the Final in their respective cup competitions at Leigh in a few weekend's time.

The u13s put on a performance to grace the main pitch in overcoming Liverpool St Helens, whilst the u14s triumphed at Blackburn.

Well done to all the lads, the club is proud of you.

Sadly it wasn't to be for the Firsts in their Semi on Saturday in suffering at best what can only be described as another bad day at the office. Ce la vie.
