SRFC Liverpool Society Referee Mark Walsh reports on more good news for the club.

Every season the members of the Liverpool Referees Society vote for the club which has looked after them. This includes the welcome, the facilities, the organisation, environment and atmosphere and how they were dealt with during their visit.

There are currently thirty eight teams using the Society for officials.

This years vote put Southport equal second with Oxton Parkonians, and both were narrowly beaten into second by Anselmians.

This is more evidence of how the club is moving forward and how we are percieved by visitors and officials.

During conversations with other referees at the AGM, many of the comments were based on the excellent facilities for officials, how they were treated and the general atmosphere and environment. Everyone agreed how much of an improvement there has been since the old cupboard they used to use to change in!!

Many thanks to you all, and particularly Sue and Louise who play the biggest part in that success.
