What's on ...

After the weather put paid to much of Saturday's rugby last weekend, in particular the fog causing the first XV fixture at Waterloo Road to be abandoned, we hope a more normal service to be resumed tomorrow.

The First XV travel to the IOM to play Douglas who are currently sitting at the top of the league, having lost only one game this season and who are unbeaten at home. Games on the IOM are always tough, but this one especially so and we wish the travelling squad well.

The seconds are at home to Vale of Lune who lie in the bottom quarter of the league and so they will be confident of victory to maintain their second placing in the league and put pressure on leaders Kendal who are equal on points with Port.

The thirds were due to travel to second placed Clitheroe 1st XV but this game has been cancelled.

Coverage of the Autumn Internationals continues on the big screens in the clubhouse with England v Australia being the highlight 2.30pm kick off.

On Sunday most of the Minis travel to meet their counterparts at West Park, but the pick of the Junior games at Waterloo Road is the U16's against Vale of Lune kick off 11.00am

This will be followed by the U17 Colts who hope to extend their winning streak, when Anselmians are the visitors to Waterloo Road. Kick off 12.30 pm.

Finally at 2.00pm Southport Ladies also take to the field their opponents being Leigh and Port will be hoping to maintain their current strong league form with another win.

Come on down and support.
