Whilst we still wait to hear from Guinness that the time of 26 hours 36 minutes 02 seconds achieved on the never-to-be forgotten weekend last July is the official new world record, in the eyes of the Visiter readers everyone who played, organised and contributed to the attempt is a local hero. Terrific and thoroughly deserved recognition within our own town. Well done all, and to all the other Award winners on the night too.
