The Southport Rugby Festival takes place at a first-class beach destination, which is full of fun entertainment to suit everyone. The town features one of the UK's oldest piers, with plenty of entertainment facilities including Pleasureland Theme Park, Splash World Indoor Water Park, many bars and restaurants and an award-winning beach.

The Southport Rugby Festival attracts over 80 teams is open to Mixed U7 to U11 teams and Boys U12 to U15 teams, with the girls festival attracting teams aged Under 13, 15 & 18 & Ladies.
