Annual General Meeting Notice

Members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting.

Southport Rugby Football Club can confirm that the Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday 7th of May 2026 at the Club grounds, commencing at 7.30pm.

In accordance with the Articles of Association and Rules of the Club, notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held on the above date.

The meeting will not be live streamed, therefore all club members are invited and encouraged to attend in person.

Agenda

  1. The agenda for the meeting will be as follows:
  2. To read the Notice Convening the Meeting
  3. To agree the Minutes of the previous AGM, held in 2025
  4. To receive the Reports of the Executive Committee
  5. To receive and, if thought fit, adopt the Financial Statements from the previous year
  6. To elect Directors of the Executive Committee
  7. Any Other Business

Executive Committee Nominations

All current elected Directors are required to resign from their positions, however, incumbents may reapply for election.

Nominations are therefore invited for the following elected positions:

  • President
  • Chairman
  • Vice Chairman
  • Secretary
  • Director of Finance
  • Director of Works
  • Director of Rugby
  • Director of Mini and Junior Rugby
  • Club Captain

All nominations must be accompanied by a proposer and a seconder. The nominee, proposer and seconder must all be paid-up club members.

The closing date for nominations is midnight on Monday 27th of April 2026.

Southport RFC encourages all members to attend and take part in this important meeting as the Club reflects on the past year and looks ahead to the future.
