The post
The post holder will be expected to perform general nursery duties and to provide assistance to the Site Manager as required.

Main duties and responsibilities

1. Production
2. Maintenance of crop
3. Order picking
4. Packing and loading
5. General plant husbandry

On the job training
Monitored by Myerscough College as part of a 2 year apprenticeship in Level 2 Horticulture Covers:

• Irrigation
• Feeding
• Pest and Disease Control
• Plant ident
• Manual Handling
• Safe use of machinery
• First Aid

Entry requirements
Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade D/3 including maths and English OR a Vocational qualification Level 1, plus GCSE grade D/3 in both maths and English.
