Southport RFC return to home soil this Saturday, 10 October, as they welcome Broughton Park RUFC to Waterloo Road for their latest Counties 1 ADM Lancashire & Cheshire league encounter.

Southport head into the fixture with confidence following last weekend's impressive 38-19 victory away at Liverpool St Helens, a performance that saw the side respond positively following their previous league outing against Eccles.

Southport make several changes to the side that secured victory at Liverpool St Helens, with Matthew Fearns set to make his first senior start for the club this weekend.

Fearns, who featured among the replacements last Saturday, is named at loosehead prop alongside Ollie Ball and Callum Tootle in the front row.

Reece Ainsworth comes into the starting side to partner Nikolai Pitera in the second row, while Zac Day-Johnson, Luke Fusco and Lewis Caldwell complete the back row.

Jake Mann and Harrison Carney continue their partnership at half-back, with Joe Topping and Adam Wood occupying the midfield positions. Johnathon Tebbs and Ollie Benford are named on the wings, while Sam McGlincy starts at full-back.
