As you know as a Club we are always keen to play our part in the Community and particularly when it involves raising money for our Charity Partner Queenscourt Hospice.

Some of you may know Andy Lawton, who is a coach for the Under 10's and whose son Jake plays for the Under 8 team.

Well on June 16th Andy and his wife Lisa completed a sponsored swim for Queenscourt Hospice by swimming a mile as part of The Great North swim on Lake Windermere !!

Andy and Lisa would like to thank all the people who sponsored and supported them and that goes from me as well.

Lisa is a nurse at Queenscourt Hospice and can see first hand the good work that people's donations can do so well done everyone.
