Louise Dale signs on as Bar and Events Manager

Southport Rugby Club is delighted to announce that Louise Dale has taken on the role of Bar & Events Manager, following the retirement of her sister, Sue, at the end of last season.

For more than 15 years, Louise has been a stalwart of the Southport RFC kitchen, playing a central role in delivering many of the club’s most successful events. Her catering has become part of the fabric of the club, supporting occasions such as Ladies Day, Patrons Day, and a long list of sponsor and charity events that have helped strengthen community ties and raise vital funds.

Looking ahead to the new season, Louise will continue to deliver the warm, inclusive hospitality that is synonymous with Southport Rugby Club, while also bringing fresh ideas and new energy to the club’s social calendar.

Among the events she is planning and developing are:

- Monthly Mini & Junior Pizza Nights — a fun, family‑friendly addition for our youngest players
- Sportsman’s Dinner — a new flagship event for members and supporters
- Floodlit Friday — continuing one of the club’s most popular social fixtures
- A return of Ladies Day for 2027

And of course, Louise will be heavily involved in two of Southport RFC’s biggest annual highlights:
- The Colour Run
- The Summer Ball

“We are absolutely delighted that Louise has agreed to take on the role of Bar & Events Manager. Her commitment to the club, her experience, and her passion for creating welcoming, community‑driven events make her the perfect person to lead our hospitality and social programme. We’re sure all members will join us in supporting her as the year progresses.”
