Player Sponsors 2026-2027

Southport RFC

Southport RFC Thanks Player Sponsors for Their Support

Southport Rugby Football Club is proud to recognise and thank its player sponsors for the 2026/27 season, highlighting the continued generosity of local businesses, individuals and supporters who play an important role in the club's ongoing development.

As Southport RFC continues its 2026/27 campaign, the club would like to express its sincere appreciation to everyone who has chosen to support our players through individual sponsorship.

Player sponsorship remains an important part of the club's continued development, providing valuable financial backing that helps sustain senior rugby and supports the wider running of the club.

The generosity of our sponsors reflects the strong relationships between Southport RFC, the local business community and the many individuals who continue to support rugby at Waterloo Road.

Supporting Southport RFC On and Off the Field

Following a memorable 2025/26 season, which saw Southport secure the Counties 2 ADM Lancashire & Cheshire title and the Lancashire Plate, the club has returned to Counties 1 with renewed ambition.

Competing at a higher level brings new challenges, making the support of our sponsors particularly valuable as the club looks to build upon its recent achievements.

From established local businesses to individuals with longstanding connections to Southport RFC, our player sponsors provide support that extends well beyond the rugby field.

Their contributions help the club maintain a strong environment for players, coaches and volunteers while supporting the resources and opportunities needed to remain competitive.

For an amateur community rugby club, partnerships such as these are essential. They allow Southport RFC to continue developing its rugby programme while maintaining the welcoming, community-focused environment that has been central to the club for generations.

A Partnership Built on Community Support

One of Southport RFC's greatest strengths is the support it receives from the local community.

Many of our sponsors have longstanding associations with the club, whether as former players, members, supporters, family connections or local businesses who have followed Southport's progress over the years.

The club is particularly grateful to those who have continued their sponsorship from previous seasons, alongside those who have chosen to become involved for the first time.

We are also pleased to see several sponsors supporting multiple players, demonstrating an exceptional level of commitment to the club and its future.

Every sponsorship contributes to the club's ongoing development, and the support of those involved is greatly appreciated.

We encourage our members, supporters and the wider Southport community to recognise and, wherever possible, support the businesses and individuals who continue to invest in rugby at Waterloo Road.

Become a Player Sponsor

With the 2026/27 season underway, Southport RFC continues to welcome enquiries from businesses and individuals interested in becoming a player sponsor.

Player sponsorship provides an opportunity to establish a closer connection with the club, support an individual player and demonstrate a commitment to grassroots sport within the local community.

Whether you are an established business, a smaller local company or an individual wishing to support a player, we would be delighted to discuss the opportunities available.

If you would like to sponsor a player for the 2026/27 season, please contact Mike Dale or Enda Rylands for further information.

Thank You for Your Continued Support

On behalf of everyone at Southport RFC, we extend our sincere thanks to all our player sponsors for their generosity, commitment and support throughout the 2026/27 season.

Your contribution makes a meaningful difference to our players and helps ensure that Southport RFC can continue to grow, develop and provide opportunities for rugby within our community.

We are proud to have so many businesses and individuals associated with the club and look forward to strengthening these partnerships throughout the season and beyond.
