As Southport RFC prepares for another season, the club would like to recognise the businesses whose continued support plays such an important role in everything we are able to deliver.

From senior rugby through to our Mini and Junior sections, women’s and girls’ rugby, facilities and wider community activity, the contribution of our sponsors extends far beyond simply placing a name on a shirt or around the ground.

Many of these relationships have been built over a number of years and have developed into genuine partnerships with businesses that share our commitment to the club, its members and the wider Southport community.

EFT Group: A Partnership Built Over 12 Years

At the heart of our commercial partnerships is our principal club sponsor, EFT Group, whose association with Southport RFC now stretches back more than 12 years.

Over that period, EFT Group has become an integral supporter of the club. Their contribution has extended well beyond traditional sponsorship, with a number of Southport RFC players having benefited from apprenticeships and employment opportunities within the business.

Their support has also had a direct impact on the continued improvement of our facilities.

Most recently, EFT Group supported the club’s annual maintenance programme, including the re-tarmacking of the main entrance to the club.

It is a relationship built on long-term commitment, local connections and a shared desire to see Southport RFC continue to progress.

Lynn Thompson Sales and Lettings: Supporting Women’s and Girls’ Rugby

Since becoming involved with Southport RFC, Lynn Thompson Sales and Lettings has demonstrated a particular commitment to the continued development of our women’s and girls’ sections.

Women’s and girls’ rugby remains an important area of growth for the club, and having local businesses prepared to invest in that journey allows us to continue creating more opportunities for players to become involved in the game.

DRP Insurance has supported Southport RFC for more than 10 years, making them another of the club’s longest-standing commercial partners.

Sponsorship relationships of this length are hugely important to community clubs. The consistent backing provided by DRP Insurance has supported Southport RFC through many different seasons and stages of its development.

Barton's Group: Strengthening a Long-Standing Relationship

Southport RFC is also delighted to have the support of Barton's Group, one of the region’s leading suppliers of beverages to pubs and clubs.

Barton's has worked closely with Southport RFC as a supplier for a number of years, building a strong relationship with the club during that time.

That relationship has now developed further through their decision to become an official club sponsor.

Their sponsorship represents another example of a local business choosing to invest directly in community sport, and we are delighted to have them associated with Southport RFC as the club continues to develop both on and off the field.

Spotmix: Investing in the Club's Future

Last season, Spotmix selected Southport RFC as a local sporting organisation they wanted to support.

That support has developed into a significant three-year commitment to the club, providing valuable backing as we continue to invest in rugby across all age groups.
