Southport Rugby Football Club and Kukri Sports are proud to announce the extension of their sponsorship agreement, extending their current relationship until 2015. The extension agreement comes as a result of the close relationship between both parties over the last 7 years.

Kukri will provide all playing and training kit for all Southport RFC teams from under 6’s through to the men’s senior 1st team - using high quality, innovative fabric technologies. Kukri will also design, produce and distribute a range of merchandise that will be stocked in the Southport RFC club shop at their Waterloo Road ground and via their recently launched online shop (accessible via www.southportrfc.com), available for players and supporters alike.

Under the terms of the enhanced agreement, Kukri will also receive marketing rights to Southport RFC including prominent pitch-side branding, hospitality and online presence, notably via the aforementioned online shop.

Southport RFC’s Chairman, Andrew Carney, commented: "We are delighted to have renewed and enhanced our partnership with such a progressive and innovative company as Kukri.
“This is great news for Southport RFC players, members and supporters who I'm sure will love the kit, whilst the commercial income which will be generated from the new contract will be a welcome boost for the club in this tough economic climate."
“What makes it even more exciting is that it marks a significant kick- start to the club’s sponsorship portfolio, five months ahead of the 2012 / 2013 season.
“In addition to this, both Kukri and SRFC will continue working together to promote rugby at all levels of the game and in all age groups, throughout the Southport area.”
