Southport Rugby Football Club is looking to recruit a 2nd Team Physiotherapist, Sports Therapist or Sports Rehabilitation practitioner ahead of the 2026/27 season.

This is a paid, self-employed position offering the opportunity to become part of a progressive and ambitious rugby environment while supporting the club’s 2nd XV throughout their league campaign.

The successful applicant will primarily be required for Saturday match days, providing pitch-side and player support at both home and away fixtures across the North West.

The role offers flexibility around other professional commitments while providing the opportunity to work closely with players, coaches and the wider club support team.

The successful applicant will:

• Provide physiotherapy, sports therapy or sports rehabilitation support to the Southport RFC 2nd XV
• Be available for Saturday league fixtures throughout the season
• Provide appropriate match-day assessment, treatment and player support
• Work alongside the club’s coaching and support staff
• Contribute positively to a competitive, professional and supportive team environment

The position is remunerated and offered on a self-employed basis.

With the new season beginning in late September 2026, we are looking to appoint someone who can quickly become an important part of the 2nd XV set-up.
