What a tense game for the Colts today, we all knew it was going to be a close game, but not as close as it was!

It was close game from start to finish, either team could of taken the win until the bitter end.

We were fortunate enough to secure 3 points early in the first half and despite the best efforts of the West Park team tehy were unable to get points on the board in the first half.

3-0 at half time

Lewis Fusco scored a try in the second half to increase Southport's to 8 points, missed the conversion from tight range.

West Park never gave up and came back at Southport, a long period of possession resulted in a try to make it 8-5.

Everything to play for, with 8 minutes to go, a try either way could of see either team to secure the win.
Thankfully Southport stayed strong until the end and ended up with the win.

Well done to everyone.

Mom chosen by west park was Ollie Bedford
Mom chosen by southport players, Jamie Atherton.
